BitRealty, LLC operates the BitRealty app. This notice describes the invited beta, which includes live BeachesMLS property search and in-app conversations. It covers the app; other BitRealty services may have separate notices.
Information we handle
We receive your email address when BitRealty invites you or you sign in. We handle your account identifier, workspace permissions and agent assignment to provide account access. We store the homes you save, your saved search areas and filters, preferences, and the inquiries and replies you send, including their timestamps and conversation status. Your account display name is derived from your email address.
Supabase processes verification links and, for accounts with an assigned password, password authentication. The app stores a sign-in session so you can remain signed in; it does not save the password you type in the sign-in form.
Our hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request or authentication logs, email delivery records and errors to operate and protect their services. Please do not enter financial account details, government identification numbers or other sensitive documents into beta messages.
How we use information
We use this information to verify sign-in, save your selections, deliver in-app conversations to authorized participants, maintain the service, respond to support requests and protect accounts. Verification emails are sent through Supabase and Resend. Conversation alerts are optional and are being introduced in stages. Each account can choose push, email and SMS independently. A channel marked setup pending does not deliver alerts. Saved-home activity is summarized for the assigned agent; live property alerts are not enabled. Notification choices do not enroll you in marketing.
Who can access information
Your assigned agent and the authorized owner of your brokerage workspace can read your client email address, inquiries and conversation replies. Other clients cannot read your conversations. Supabase provides account and database hosting, and Resend provides sign-in email delivery. BitRealty's authorized administrators may access data to operate and support the beta. Providers process data as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments through Google Workspace. TestFlight feedback is handled through Apple's beta-testing service. These services have their own privacy information: Supabase, Resend, Google, and Apple.
The reviewed beta does not contain advertising or cross-app tracking features. It does not request contacts, camera or photo library access. Search locations can be places you type or select, or optional foreground location when you tap Near me, as described below.
Notifications
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be processed by service providers solely to operate the service, verify phone ownership and deliver requested messages. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
SMS consent is a separate, optional choice, off for new accounts. It is not required to sign in, search homes, use conversations or purchase any service. Saving a phone number alone does not enroll you. Read the SMS Terms and Conditions and the SMS enrollment guide.
When you choose conversation alerts, we store your channel preferences, verified email address, phone number and verification status, consent and opt-out times, device push registration and delivery status. Alerts contain a generic activity notice rather than conversation text or client names.
Resend handles email delivery. When activated, Expo and Apple handle iPhone push delivery and Twilio handles SMS. Push and SMS require additional setup before delivery; selecting a pending channel does not mean it is active. Providers process the destination and technical delivery information needed to deliver alerts.
Choose any combination of channels, or turn them all off, in Account → Notifications in an updated beta build. If that screen is not available in your installed version, email rbeckett@bitrealty.com for help changing your preferences. Sign-in emails are separate from conversation alerts.
SMS requires phone verification and consent before activation. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. You can use the app with SMS off.
Signing out removes this phone’s push registration when connected and revokes its app session. Email and SMS preferences remain until you change them. Deleting your account removes your notification settings, stored phone and device registrations. Provider delivery logs and backups follow provider retention schedules.
Message safety
We store message reports (the reported message reference, reporter, reason, time and review status), blocked-person relationships and messaging restrictions to handle abuse. A limited rules-based filter checks messages before posting; BitRealty reviews reported content and may remove messages or pause messaging. Reports are visible to authorized owners of the relevant brokerage and administrators, not other clients. Blocking stops new messages between the accounts across shared conversations; previous messages remain visible. We do not send messages to an external AI moderation provider.
Account deletion also removes blocks involving that account and reports submitted by it or attached to messages deleted with it. Removing a reported message replaces its text with a removal notice; the report reference and status remain until the related records are deleted.
Storage and deletion
Account and app records are hosted using Supabase; the current project is configured in the United States. On iPhone, sign-in session tokens are stored using the device's secure storage. The web preview uses browser session storage. Signing out removes the local sign-in session; it does not delete the account or its saved records.
The beta has no automatic inactivity-based deletion schedule for account records, saved items or conversations. They remain until you remove them through the available app controls or BitRealty removes them. Support email is separate from app records and is not automatically deleted when you delete your app account.
You may delete saved homes and searches in the app. To delete your beta account, open the account menu, choose “Delete my account,” type DELETE, and confirm. This removes your sign-in account, invitation, saved homes, saved searches and conversations you created as a client. Messages you authored, including agent replies in other clients' conversations, are deleted. Those conversations and other participants' messages remain. Rejoining requires a new invitation.
Provider logs and any backups follow their applicable retention schedules and may not be removed immediately by account deletion. We do not promise a specific log or backup deletion period in this notice. Contact us for questions about retention, support-email deletion or a deletion request that you cannot complete in the app.
Your choices and help
You can sign out from the account menu. For access, correction, privacy or deletion assistance, email rbeckett@bitrealty.com. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder. Do not send passwords or sign-in links in a support request.
Changes
We will update this notice when the app's data practices change, including before enabling additional services that materially change those practices. The published notice will show its effective date.
Live property search and nearby maps
The private iPhone beta includes BeachesMLS listings through Repliers. Choose Buy or Rent and search a city, neighborhood or address. Near me asks for optional foreground location access when tapped, rounds coordinates to roughly neighborhood precision and sends them with the radius through Supabase and BitRealty to Repliers. Apple Maps displays matching homes. Coordinates stay in app memory rather than saved searches or account records; providers may retain request logs. No background location tracking is used. You can decline location access and type an address, clear the location filter, or revoke access in device Settings. Tap Near me again to refresh your search location. Use while safely stopped. Live property alerts remain unconnected.
